Purpose
This is a feature film presenting the heart and devastating emotional journey of a victim of sex trafficking.
Logline
Sparkle, a high school student by day and a prostitute by night, risks her life training to win a dance competition in order to gain a future beyond foster care and freedom from the man who is trafficking her.
Importance
This film sheds light on a hidden darkness. It takes the journey in the shoes of a victim and through her eyes we see her brokenness and her enslavement to her trafficker. We get to experience different forms of how victims are lured in and see how there are many ways the world is falling short on stopping this evil.
